To provide for the
continued support of your business solution developed by Aspen Software - Aspen Advantage
Warranty is available for a single annual fee to give you the peace of mind that comes
with a tailored extended warranty scheme.

Extended
Warranty
|
The most important
element of the Aspen Advantage plan is the extended warranty provision. This means that
for the duration of the contracted 12 month warranty period, Aspen Software will promptly
rectify any defects in the functioning of the warranted software application that it has
produced. Naturally, such defects would be in relation to the agreed specification for the
system and would not cover unauthorised modifications or defects relating to software or
hardware provided by any third parties.

Tailored
Backup
|
Aspen Advantage is
designed to be tailored to your own support escalation procedures, providing a point of
contact for the key individuals who provide the normal day-to-day specialist support for
the ultimate end users of the application developed by Aspen Software.

Application
Copy
|
A copy of the most
current version of the supported application will be maintained in a readily accessible
form for use by Aspen Software at its own premises. Wherever possible, a copy of live
database contents may be provided to Aspen Software prior to review meetings in order to
facilitate an analysis of internal structures and logs. Naturally, the confidentiality of
any information provided will be rigorously observed. Whilst not
replacing your own disaster backup facility, the application copy maintained at Aspen
Software's premises will provide an additional off-site backup location.

Proactive
Review
|
As any system is
used on a regular basis, the volume of the information stored within it will grow and may
well change in nature. As people become familiar with the potential of the system, they
may well identify possible enhancements that can have significant improvement on their own
productivity. To allow for this evolution in a controlled proactive manner and to ensure
the overall quality of the service being provided, Aspen Advantage also includes quarterly
meetings to review: overall usage and problem responses, potential problems, the impact of
any forthcoming third party product upgrades and potential system enhancements.

Support
Pack
|
To encapsulate Aspen
Advantage and to provide an easy to use reference point for all material associated with
the warranty scheme, a support pack/system log will also be provided to complement the
existing Aspen Software technical documentation packs.
